THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION- 10% SHIFT DIFF FOR OFF SHIFTS
Job Summary:
Sets up and operate CNC machines including loading fixture, programs, and parts. Changing tools, touching-off tools, inspecting and changing inserts, loading and adjusting tool offsets. Review manufacturing drawing and verify product specification using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers and CMM. Comply with all safety policies and procedures while actively participating to create a zero-harm culture at work. Actively participate in continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer acceptations. Properly complete required paper work on time. Participate in daily preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read micrometers and calipers
- Blueprint reading is a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
